Troy University Panama City Support Center and Innovations have an established partnership. Through this partnership, Innovations team members and its members receive an application fee waiver and a 10% tuition reduction scholarship while attending TROY. The two parties were brought together through mutual employees coordinating, collaborating and realizing that the two organizations could mutually benefit from one another.
Dan began his time with TROY by receiving his Bachelor's degree in 2015 with TROY Online. Dan was focused on finding a school that would be more than just a piece of paper and provide reputable learning and challenges. Admitting that TROY far exceeded his expectations, he decided to come back to TROY again and pursue his Master's degree in 2019. Because of Dan's commitment to TROY and high regard for the value of his degree, TROY has been able to earn the business of dozens of Innovations team members and members.

Avoid being a money mule.
The FBI recently issued a public service announcement to help people from getting scammed into being a money mule. They define a money mule as someone who transfers funds on behalf of or at the direction of another. Money mules are recruited to assist criminals with laundering proceeds from illegal activities and are often promised easy money for their participation in moving funds. And if you help a scammer—even if it is unknowingly—you could face legal issues.
To protect yourself, they advise the following:
- Do not accept job offers that ask you to receive company funds into your personal bank account or ask you to open a business bank account.
- Be suspicious if a romantic partner asks you to receive or transfer funds from your account.
- Do not provide your financial details to anyone (bank account info, login info, passwords, etc.)
- Do not provide copies of your identification documents to anyone unless they represent a legitimate financial institution or governmental entity, and you do so either face to face or by an encrypted email service. (This would include driver’s license, passport, social security number, etc.)
- Conduct online searches to corroborate any information provided to you before acting.
